Welcome to Angels Mollymook. We do have vacancies! Privately owned and operated by the Early Childhood Teacher, Karen Tebbutt Dip Ed, B.A. since 1987, the centre is designed and operated under regulation of the local Council and Department of Community Services (DoCS) for thirty children 3 to 6 years old and eight child over 2 years of age.
We have 5 times received National Accreditation, which is your assurance of quality care.
Our centre is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm.
We have two bright, well equipped playrooms offering air conditioning and a large leafy ADVENTURE PLAYGROUND. As well as changeable climbing apparatus on soft fall area, we have trees, lots of grassy area, a bike track which runs through an Aboriginal artwork painted tunnel,a big sandpit, boat, slippery dip, stage, cubby house, vegetable patch and more!
The significance of early childhood is recognised for the physical, intellectual, social and emotional development. At our centre we aim to provide a happy, safe, simulative environment which appreciates and fosters the individuality of all children, including those with special needs.
A positive approach is used for guidance and discipline, praise and encouragement, respect for children's developing competence, fostering self-esteem and independence.
Our program is multi-cultural and gender equal, fostering personal, social, language and intellectual development, fine and gross motor skills and creative awareness. Our day includes lots of time for a choice of activities, based on observed strengths and interests, with structured small group times as well.
