Dress For Play

Please provide a complete change of clothes, including socks and a jumper, in your child’s bag. We ask these to be labeled in some way. Soiled clothes are rinsed and placed in a plastic bag for parents to launder at home.

We strongly advise to dress children in practical play clothes. Paint smocks are provided for really messy craft, but do not protect as well as you’d imagine. Cold water washing should remove most of our paints.

Encourage free play and exploration as we do here and dress your child in 'doesn’t matter’ clothes.

Sun Protection

Children are required to keep a labelled sun hat at the centre. This will be kept on the verandah in your child's pocket throughout the year. We urge parents to apply sunscreen prior to arrival. You are welcome to use the centre's sunscreen with is located next to the sign in book. Due to individual allergies staff are only allowed to apply sunscreen with the parents written approval.

Please dress your child in clothes that provide coverage while outside. Eg T-shirts, not bare shoulders.
