Food
Milk & Water are provided as they are the healthiest drinks.
The fruit, vegetable or cheese donation goes toward the mixed plates for the children's morning and afternoon tea.
Please provide lunch in a paper bag marked with the child's name. No lunch boxes please. We provide spoons. Our policy is that your child's lunch be a nutritious one. Sandwiches with nutritious fillings, a healthy snack too such as fruit, cheese, celery or carrot sticks, crackers or yogurt for example.
Please avoid fruit sticks and roll ups. We do not allow chips, twisties or chocolate.
Allergies & Special Diets
Please advise the Director of any allergies or diet restrictions your child may have so that the staff know to never offer these types of foods.
Food Safety
Birthdays are sometimes celebrated with a cake provided by the parent. These can not be home made as they must be of commercial food safety standard. Protective shield are used when blowing out candles to stop the spread of germs.
